TENTATIVE WINTER BASKETBALL PRACTICE SCHEDULE (SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS WE HAVE)
BOYS’ PRACTICE TIMES – MON, WED, FRI, EVENING FOR 1 HOUR PLUS 1 HOUR ON SATURDAY MORNING OR SUNDAY AFTERNOON
GIRLS’ PRACTICE TIMES – TUES/THURS EVENING FOR 1 HOUR PLUS 1 HOUR ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON OR SUNDAY MORNING
1 HOUR PRACTICES DURING THE WEEK ARE BETWEEN 6:00PM AND 10:00PM WITH THE 8U STARTING AT 6PM, 10U AT 7PM, 12U AT 8PM AND 14U/16U AT 9PM
WEEKEND PRACTICES WILL BE SCHEDULED SOME TIME BETWEEN 8AM AND 4PM
THE PRACTICE SEASON WILL BE FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER AND WILL CHANGE IN JANUARY WHEN GAMES BEGIN.
THERE IS A CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY SCHOOL BREAK. PLEASE LET YOUR COACH KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE AND ASK FOR MORE INFO.
UNIFORMS ARE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF REGISTRATION – PLEASE BE SURE TO PROVIDE STURDY BASKETBALL SHOES FOR YOUR PLAYER.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT GYC IS IN THE PROCESS OF UPGRADING OUR UNIFORMS AND REGISTRATION FORM. AT THIS TIME WE REQUIRE ALL FIELDS TO BE FILLED OUT. WE UNDERSTAND THAT SOME FIELDS MAY NOT APPLY TO A SPECIFIC SPORT, AT THIS TIME. AS WE MOVE FORWARD GYC WILL PULL THE NECESSARY INFORMATION FROM THE REGISTRATION FORM WITH EACH SEASON UNTIL THE UNIFORM AND REGISTRATION UPGRADES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. RETURN TO PLAY WAIVER
As part of GYC’s preparation for a return to organized activities we have included a waiver for parents/guardians of youth players. A new POST COVID-19 GYC Waiver is now part of their registration and details of the waiver may be reviewed on our By-Laws page under Waiver Policies and on the Registration form. This waiver must be signed for any player to be eligible to now participate in GYC sanctioned events. Players who do not have a waiver signed will not be allowed to participate in any GYC related activity. The actual signing process is done by completing the registration form on our website and checking the boxes under the GYC Terms & Return to Play section.

* DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE FOR MULTI-CHILD FAMILIES, YOU MUST ENTER CHILDREN OLDEST TO YOUNGEST TO RECEIVE PROPER DISCOUNT. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN INCOMPLETE REGISTRATION.
refund policy
Each member is required to register for the activities in which they wish to participate for that period. Individual refunds must be requested in writing (or email to the Vice President) within 30 days of Registration opening. After 30 days from Registration opening, refunds must be approved by the Board of Directors. No refunds will be issued after 60 days from your individual registration date, no exceptions.
