Equipment handouts will be Thursday (July 29th), and Friday( July 30th) from 6:00 to 7:30.
Football:
Equipment hand outs for all ages will be on Thursday, and Friday (July 29th-30th) from 6:00 to 7:30.
Players are responsible for the following equipment:
- Shoulder Pads
- Girdle
- Girdle Pads
- Spikes
- Practice Jersey (we recommend at least two)
- Practice Pants (we recommend at least two)
- Athletic Supporter
- Padded Chin Strap (the GYC provides a generic one)
Only registered children will receive equipment. To see if you are registered, please contact Betty @ bandb408@msn.com If you are not registered, a GYC board member will be present on the nights of equipment hand outs. Cost for football is $95 per child.
When picking up equipment, please bring two seperate checks made out to the Glenolden Youth Club. One check is for $100, post dated for 11/30/2010. This check is an equipment deposit. If your equipment is not turned in at the end of the season, we will be cashing this check. The other check is in the amount of $25, dated current, made out to the Glenolden Youth Club. You will be refunded your $25 after working 1 practice and 1 game in the snackbar. No equipment will be given out unless both of these checks are presented, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Football starts on Monday, August 2nd at 6:00, at the football field on Knowles Ave. Players need helmet and cleats only. Please bring water.
Cheerleading:
Cheerleading will be starting on Tuesday August 3rd at 6:00, on the lower field on Knowles Ave. To see if you are registered, please contact Betty @ bandb408@msn.com. Registration is $50 per child. Parents are responsible for a check in the amount of $25, dated current, made out to the Glenolden Youth Club. You will be refunded your $25 after working 1 practice and 1 game in the snackbar.If you have any questions, please contact Lori @ 267-515-3601.
Soccer:
